Weigand will be celebrated on Monday, Nov. 17, at 7:30 p.m. in Salt Lake Citys Salt Palace. It is open to the public although it is not yet determined whether or not seating tickets will be used. Pellegrino gave the Catechetical Right of Commissioning to 11 CCD teachers last Sunday. Fr. Pellegrino annointed the teachers and presented them each with a chirho pin and a candle. The teachers include Sister Isabel, Leslie Tallerico, Kathy Kokal, Kay Palleta, Sidnee Krajnc, Jeannette Marasco, Mary Lopan, Mary Bonacci, Ramona Milano, Mary Boyack and CCD coordinator Pam Felice. The children will not be attending a regular class, but should accompany their parents so both parent and child will have an opportunity to meet with the teacher. This is a good opportunity to discuss classroom policy or any questions concerning the catechetical program. The fee is $10 a child or $25 for a family of 3 or more children registered. This fee must be paid on registration day.
