In the Carbon School District every effort is made to give the students what they like, not only in food but in the type of service. At Carbon High School there is a salad bar and a snack bar. The district serves 2,500 meals a day nd 444,000 during the school year. Parents are invited to come and eat not only on school lunch day but any day during the year. Mrs. Gibson says the schools would like to know one day in advance, however, to enable them to know how much food to prepare. Durrant school celebrates students birthdays by inviting families for school lunch on one day during the month in which the childs birthday occurs. On the designated date in September this year, Mrs. Gibson says Durrant served 550 school lunches and 150 of them were to parents. For school lunch day at Price Elementary last year were 800 people. We might have more of them to pass over us in August than in January. What misleads many about cold fronts is the very name itself. But in summer a cold front might contain (behind the leading edge) air of 72 degrees, or even 80 degrees. A cola front is because of its relative temperature considering the time of year and prevailing weather conditions. August, this year, has already experience cold fronts in various areas. In fact, Idaho and Colorado have already had snow in the mountain areas. and proposed the Price River Water Improvement District to meet with them to discuss the problems of the outside water users.
