The girls beat both the jayvee and varsity teams from Richfield. The jayvees won Top scorer was Jan Marshall with eight points. Top rebounder was Lisa Willardson with nine. Most assists was by Jan Marshall with four. 36-2- The kids were really excited Coach about beating Richfield, Marie Bone said. That is one of their rivals. The kids did really well. It was a rough game but not as bad as some in the past. 7 we won against Top scorer was Nere-s- a Nielsen with 27 points. Kelly Shaheen and Allison Steiger each grabbed 14 rebounds. With Richfield being a 2 A school, I felt it was good for us to build our confidence. Last Friday night the girls had a jayvee game with Wasatch Academy. They visited at the home of Mrs. DeNeece Simpson and Mrs. Thelma Okerlund. A class in beginner refresher French will be taught through the Community Education Office of Sevier School District if interest is high enough, according to program director Hyrum Ipson.
