Allens. Tuesday, Aug. 24, A1 and Afton were in Tooele for the funeral of a young relative, Ted Cox, who was in a motorcycle accident. Thursday, Aug. 26, Vicki Nielsen, Joan Coates, Marie Taylor, and Beth Curtis spent the day in Provo at BYU for Education Week. DeAnna Taylor and family spent the week with DeAnnas parents, Jim and Arvilla Hooks of Pleasant Grove. DeAnna, Anna, Barbara, and Ariel spent the week attending Education Week at BYU. DeVoy and Da Willden have been in Vernal visiting Wendy and Ed Betts and Tait. While there, they celebrated DeVoys and Taits birthdays. Bob and Susan Bagley went to Boise, Ida. last week for a business trip. Guild Announces Youth Policies Music The Guild has announced its policy concerning children and students: It is the policy of the Guild to only admit children 12 years and older to their concerts. 8 Children years old and students over 18 are given youth memberships. (Paid Political Advertising) from the North Sevier area were among the 2,223 graduates who received diplomas in August at Brigham Young University in Provo. These graduates represented 47 states and 30 foreign countries. The number of August graduates is 1.6 percent above last year and is the second largest number graduating in August in BYU history. The record was set in 1974 when 2,257 students received diplomas. The combination of CAMP TRAILER ten December, April, and August graduates brings the 1981-8- 2 academic year total to 6,171 dethe grees awarded largest in BYUs history. A total of 54.1 percent (1,202) of the August graduates are men and 45.9 percent (1,021) are women.
