The program is designed to help relieve pain and stiffness caused by arthritis while providing a social opportunity. Class will be held from 10 to 1 1 a.m. on Tuesday and Thursday beginning Sept. 15. Participants will be led through a series of specially designed exercises which, with the aid of the waters buoyancy and resistance, can help improve joint flexibility. The warm water and gentle movements can also help relieve pain and stiffness. It is not necessary to know how to swim. This is a flexible, part-tim- e contract position typically one evening per week for two hours. Instructor will determine the projects and which one or two days per week class will be held. In the past, the classes have been taught one night a week for five weeks.
