Students were told to leave their stories and read them over the next day to see what they could add. Using pink tag board, they drew and cut out a person who was to be in the tub. The book pages are cut in the shape of a bath tub with the cover being white and the inside pages blue. The figure fits between the pages and illustrations will be drawn on the page where the feet stick through. I really like to do poems. This is so much fun for me, said Amber Feigleson. They have completed a Haiku book about the seasons. Its fun to brainstorm for ideas for new poems. We write about things going on in the summer. Its just really fun. I won in the poem part in the Reflections contest, added Amber, I want to be an artist and poem writer. This is a good experience to prepare myself for when I grow up. And Scott Vargas said he will always remember the third grade because of Buckley. We can imagine things. We get to learn things we didnt know and draw things we havent done before, said Ashley Shaw. And Jana Watkins agreed. It helped me learn more about poems. I learned that poems dont have to rhyme. I love to write poems and use my imagination.
