Sports briefs Layton bowler will be honored at luncheon The Utah LAYTON Womens Bowling Association will honor Hazel West of Layton at the UWBAs annual tournament awards luncheon Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at Distinctive Catering in Salt Lake City. West, 65, has bowled for 31 years and has been active in transporting bowlers who had no transportatiort. In 1982 West was inducted into the Ogden Womens Bowling Associations Hall of Fame for superior performance, carrying an average of Over 180 for eight years.
