Doug has a grade point average of 4.0. He was Davis High Schools Sterling Scholar nominee in science. He is a member of the National Honor Society and is the senior class vice president. He is interested in computers and won first place in the, computer competition during Physics Day at Utah State University last year. He recently won two gold medals, one in science and one in math, and was a member of the winning team at the Academic Olympiad contest held at Utah State University. Doug also helped to start the science club at Davis High School. He has received a Trustee Scholarship to Brigham Young University. He plans to study de football.
