She was born Dec. 12, 1961, in Bloomington, III., a daughter of Floyd E. and Mary E. Atwood Sigler. She married John Alton Sigler June 18, 1983, in Albuquerque, N.M. He died Oct. 1, 1988. She was reared and educated in New Mexico, graduating from San Ria High School in Albuquerque. She also graduated from University of New Mexico with a degree in electrical engineering. She had lived in Illinois, Texas and New Mexico and the past two years in Utah. She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Layton. She enjoyed skiing, scuba diving, photography and sewing. She was born Sept. 14, 1926, in Huntington, Utah, a daughter of David Eugene Gene and Adalaide Larson Sherman. She married Earnest Machovsky Aug. 20, 1945, in Salt Lake City. She had been employed at Hill Air Force Base from 1943 to 1945. She had also been employed at the Internal Revenue Service as a data transcriber from 1960 until her retirement in 1980. She had lived in Salt Lake City prior to moving to Riverdale in 1959. Surviving are her husband of River-dal- , e, one son and one daughter, Charles Earnest Charlie Machovsky, Layton; Mrs. Jay (Carol) Penman, Hooper; and five grandchildren. Also surviving are six brothers, Max Sherman, Sandy; Jim Sherman, Kearns; Bob Sherman, Huntington, Utah; Wilford Sherman, Grand Junction, Colo ; Ray Sherman, Albuquerque, N.M.; and Ben Sherman, Kimberly, Idaho.
