The new Mrs. Lewis is a graduate of Davis High School and Kaysville LDS Seminary. She has attended Weber State College. The bridegroom graduated from Davis High School, and served a Canada, Calgary LDS Mission. He has attended Weber State College. The couple plan to make their future home in Layton. Refrigeration, for 27 years. He raised draft horses all his life and participated in numerous horse pullings over the years. Later he also won several trophies showing his horses individually and as matched teams. He has been active in the LDS Church, holding positions in Scouting, Young Mens Association and High Priest' group. He is currently a temple worker at the Ogden LDS Temple. His children and their spouses are Marvin and Brenda Birt; Ralph and Dana Birt; Nolan and Diane Birt; Dean and Glenda Birt; Don and Karen Birt, all of South Weber; and Richard and Marjorie Corbridge, Kirkland, v $ He also has 26 grandchildren and eight J. William (BiJJlsirt Kindergarteners to get skill test Beginning this school year, Davis County kindergarten children will be given a skills during the first four days of school. Each student will be tested in a time period by the kindergarten teacher. Parents can attend the testing if they wish. The purpose of this test is not to determine who can enter kindergarten, but will only be used by the teacher to determine the skills that need to be taught. 20-min- f; f fn survival skills (buttoning, lacing, zipping), math skills, walking, speech, etc. Help is needed for' these skills from 9:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. Feeding help is needed daily, Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. for those students who cannot feed themselves. Children range in ages from 5 years to 21 years. They also range in handicapping conditions to severely to moderately handicapped. They are a real joy and are delightful to be around. He is known for his gardening skills and sharing his produce with others.
