The widespread acclaim led to a special Academy Award from the motion picture industry, col lected by Disney himself, with Oscars representing Snow White and each of the seven happy diamond miners. Since then, the tale has become a classic with a cast more universally recognized than any other in motion picture history, a cast consisting of Doc, Bashful, Sleepy, Sneezy, Happy, Grumpy, and the not-s- o talkative Dopey. And who can forget the biggest threat to their happy society, the evil queen who attempts to snuff the life of Snow White, the innocent princess, because her beauty surpasses hers. Of course the evil plot is foiled by Snow Whites first love Prince Charming, who revives her from a deep sleep with a kiss. The play is scheduled Aug. 8 to 22 for five performances in the - 1 -- Woods Cross High School audito- rium. Peterson is currently appearing at the Brunswick Theater, Brunswick, Maine in Camelot. Peterson has appeared in title roles in over 30 musicals and dramas at Pioneer Theater. This included two productions of My Fair Lady where he earned critical praise in the role of Professor Higgins. She teaches art lessons in her home studio. Walter Jorgensen has been active in art circles and started to paint at a young age under the di rection of his mother. He works in oils, pastels, and has had some experience in lithography. His paintings have been exhibited at the Heritage Museum in Layton, the Myra Powell Gallery in Ogden, the Bertha Eccles Museum, Ogden, and at local exhibitions in the Weber County area. He has taken some art courses from the University of Utah. The World Folkfest will feature the pageantry and folk costums of the countries represented through music, song, and authentic original dances. , Gala performances will start at 8 p.m. Aug. 13 at the Dee Events , Center, and Aug. 12 at the Browning Center.
