On the other hand, wind surfing at its worst is, well, just wet. But wind surfing at any level is whether youre a challenge struggling to right your sail in a gentle breeze or smashing breakers off through three-fothe California coast. Across the country, windsurfing continues to grow from its start some 15 years ago in Malibu, California, where two Hobie Cat got a bright idea and the sport was born. According to the owner of a windsurfing specialty shop in Salt Lake, all it takes to get started is lesson a three-hopreferably and by a certified instructor access to a board and rig.
