At the time he was planning to build a permanent home for his reality company on a small piece of ground south of the Layton Hills Mall. He wanted to include related services to make the purchase of real estate easy and convenient for Davis County residents. He saw his goal accomplished recently when Manor House Financial Centers grand opening n ribbon was officially cut by Richard McKenzie. Mayor The ribbon cutting was the easy part, according to Belleau. The hard part, the actual building of the 7,200 square-fobuilding, is behind now and Belleau is already making plans to fill other goals and dreams. Layton Cottage sells fabric crafts - LAYTON The Cottage, a fabric and craft store, has opened at 240 S. Fort Lane. Jolene Burkett owns and manages the shop. Mrs. Burkett said the shop opening is the fulfillment of a longtime goal. Her father owned a fabric mill in Provo and she worked for him. She decided she would like to open a fabric shop several ears ago and realized that desire about three weeks ago when the shop opened its doors for the first time. She will sell mill ends and fiatfold fabric with the main emphasis on knits, fleece and cotton blends. She also sells buttons for 2 cents to 5 cents each, lace by 5 SJ The traditional English style building houses Manor House Realty, operated by Belleau. The main floor features United Savings and Loan, managed by Ted Harris. A State Farm Insurance office, managed by Byron Liljenquist, and Associated Title Co., managed by Lori Moore, are also located in the Manor House Financial Center. The clock tower on the west side of the building is especially Belleau appealing to passers-bsaid. I wanted something to make the building easily distinguishable, he said, something that would be an area landmark. n Belleau said he chose the site since it was close to a regional mall, had easy freeway access, and was near Hill Air Force Base.
