FARMINGTON Sustained as the new stake president of the Farmington North LDS Stake on June 29, was Charles Norton. Counselors will be Darwin Christenson, first counselor, and Jerry King, second counselor. Norton was a bishop of the Farmington 6th Ward from 1978-8- 2 and has served in the stake presidency since that time. He and his wife, Sharon are the parents of three children. McKAY-DE- E HOSPITAL CENTER iu r jih o tv 0 Dr. Steven Lowell Johnson, a specialist in menstrual abnormalities, urinary tract difficulties, and Obstetrics, Gynecology and Infertility, has joined the staff at Humana Hospital Davis North. Humana Hospital is pleased to welcome Dr. Johnson to the Layton area. Dr. Johnson has an excellent educational background as well as a broad spectrum of experience. He received his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Brigham Young University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He received his Medical Degree from the University of Utah College of Medicine, and trained as an OBGYN intern and resident at the Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. As an Obstetrician and Gynecologist, his specialty training emphasized infertility, high risk obstetrics, and natural childbirth. He also treats gynecological disorders such as al syndrome. He has special training in laser surgery and in fetal ultrasonography. During Dr. Johnsons training, he conducted research on infections in pregnancy, epidurals for pain relief during labor and their effect on labor, Herpes Virus and a method to decrease medical costs. Dr. Johnson is a native of Orem, Utah. His wife, Lori Peterson, is from the Kaysville area, and they have two children with a third on the way.
