The win puts the Lakers tied for the Region 1 lead with Weber, and only one league game remains to be played. Our defense was on the field way too much in the first half and we just didnt get the breaks we needed, said Clearfield coach Brent Hancock. The first play from scrimmage ; ; was only a hint of things to come for the Falcons as they were penalized five yard for illegal mo-- I tion, moving them back to their . The pass was almost picked off by Chad Brett but Hicks was able to grab the tipped ball and race 57 yards for the score.
