Show Lakeside Review North, Wednesday, Jan. 25, 1984 LDS Missionaries To Serve, Return . ,n ' -- Mmi Lakeside area residents have accepted calls from the LDS Church to serve as missionaries. Elder Vondel Hathaway, son of Mr. and Mrs. LaMar D. Hathaway of 1646 W, Camclot Drive in Layton, has accepted a call to serve an LDS mission to the England Coventry mission. He will enter the Missionary Training Center on Feb. 9. Elder Hathaway will speak at a farewell testimonial to be held on Sunday, Jan. 29, at 1:30 p.m. in the Layton 19th LDS Ward, 4 r! 1591 W. 1600 N. He is a 1983 graduate of Lay-to- camp N TUT9 n High School where he was active in drama and music, a member of the Laytones for two years and president of the a cap-pelchoir his senior year. He is a four-yegraduate of Layton LDS Seminary He has held leadership positions in all of his LDS ward priesthood quorums. Elder Hathaway has been employed at Desarose since his senior year in high school. . . Elder Kyle E. Nagel, son of Aage V. and Nola B. Nagel, 4482 S. 2250 W., Roy, has accepted a mission call to the London England LDS Mission. He will enter the Missionary Training Center on Feb. 2. He will speak Sunday, Jan. 29; at 3:30 p.m. in the Roy 21st LDS Ward, 4530 S. 2525 W., Roy. Friends and relatives are invited to meet with the missionary at his home Saturday evening. Elder Nagel graduated from Roy High School and LDS Seminary. He was active in Scouting and earned an Eagle Scout badge. Elder Mark David Chamber-lai- n has accepted a call to the Korean Seoul West Mission and will enter the MTC February 2. Elder Chamberlain is the son of David and Janeen Chamber-lain- . He is a graduate of Woods Cross High School and has been attending USU this year. He will speak Jan. 29at 3 p.m. at the Val Verda Eighth Ward Chapel, 2652 South 500 West, Bountiful.
