Bradley Funeral services were held in Santaquin at the Santaquin Tintic Stake Center Monday for Jed Greenhalgh who died Wednesday at the Payson City Hospital of causes incident to age. Born May 14, 1882 at Santaquin, a son of John and Augusta Johnson Greenhalgh, he married Levinah E. Holman August 2, 1905 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a farmer and barber during much of his life. He served in all the church organizations during his life. He had been on the committee for the Santaquin-Tint- ic Old Folks Party and Blackhawk Committee. He was a genealogical worker. He enjoyed gardening and prospecting as w, Lenore Finch and children of Milford were in town to attend the wedding and reception for Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Cook. They also visited with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Blair Herbert. ns News and views of 8 CHRONICLE Jed Greenhalgh Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Burraston last Sunday were their son and daughter-in-laMr. and Mrs. Richard Burraston and three daughters of Tooele, Mr. Maston Trotter of Delta and Mr. and Mrs. Tim Hannifin of Eureka. Mrs. Mr. and Mrs. Sam McFadden recently spent a few days in Butte, Mont, with long time friends, Mr. and Mrs. Kirby Crowley. The four enjoyed reminiscing of the experiences they had when the McFad-deresided in Butte. Mrs. Sarah Tanner spent last week in California, traveling with her daughter, Phyllis, and husband, Lorimer Christensen of Provo. Mrs. Tanner visited in Oakland with her son, Keith, while the Christensens went on to visit their daughter, Kay, and husband, Russell Jacobsen at San Jose. Mrs. Christensen remained for a longer visit and Mrs. Tanner and Mr. Christensen returned home, stopping for a brief visit with her son, Merle Henry Tanner, in Renc Nevada. PAYSON Thursday, June 25, 1970 Mr. and Mrs. Clair Winnie spent last weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Goodwine at Moab. Their two little sons, Burk and Curt, accompanied them home after spending a week with grandma and grandpa Goodwine. Emma Steele entertained the Sewing Club at her home last Thursday afternoon. Sewing and visiting were the afternoons activities. Members present were Velda Kay, Vera Morgan, Erma Thomas, Mar gerite Poulson, Beth Hickman and the hostess served tasty refreshments. Bruce and Anitra Montague Martin and their sons, Marty and Ellis, are visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Montague, in Payson. The family has resided at Fort Walton, Florida during the past several months and are now awaiting a new assignment by UNTVAC, with whom he is associated. Enroute to Payson they stopped overnight in Denver, Colo., to visit her sister and husband, Kolette and Larry McClurg, and baby daughter, Kati Ann, who was born last December. Mr. McClurg is employed by a mining and oil company, but returned to Utah State University in Logan recently to receive his masters degree in geology. City from their home in Pleasant Hills, a suberb of Cinncinatti, Ohio and on June 20th boarded a plane for New York City, where she met her husband to embark on a four week tour of Europe. Mr. Kinnear is director of public relations for World Academy and will be tour director of the study tour of about 150 students. Mrs. Kinnear will accompany him as his assistant. She is the former Shirleen Rodgers of Payson. The Kinnear children are remaining in Payson with their grandparents. Mrs. Guest, former Elaine Rodgers, and little daughter, Danielle, remained in Utah the arrival of her sister and family after she and her husband vacationed here for a couple of weeks. The Rodgers couple and the Guest family spent several days at Lake Powell and later Mr. Guest left for their home in Los Angeles, Calif., while she returned to Payson with her parents. The family has been joined for their reunion by Mr. Rodgers mother, Mrs. G.C. Rodgers of Salt Lake City, who plans to accompany Mrs. Guest and Danielle on their return trip to the coast, .traveling by train. niticsTTI Phono Senior Citizens Young at Heart Club was held in Eureka at the Memorial Hall Wednesday, June 17. Five members from Goshen attended. There were nineteen members who enjoyed the afternoon, playing cards and visiting.
