Join H.S. PTA When we examine a plan of progression and its problems and opportunities, we should see to it that we are more a part of the solution than of the problem. This week parents of high school students are being confronted with the opportunity of joining the PTA. In making your decision we ask you to consider the opportunities made available to our students through an active PTA organization such as scholarship awards, contest participation which enhances educational endeavors and responsible and enthusiastic interest in all phases of the school curriculum. Sometimes we make our high school students feel that they dont need our support through the PTAand when this happens it tends to widen the generation gap. Our high school students do need us. All of the programs and opportunities the PTA works for throughout the year comes to a climax with the high school program, and if at this time we choose to be inactive then we also choose to be ineffective. Please join the PTA today. The contest, held for many years and until last year sponsored by the Tolhurst family, was taken over by Mr. and Mrs. McKay Christensen, who now sponsor the event.
