THE HOUSE OF QUALITY BEST IDEAS The Payson Chronicle for Nov.-De- e. t M SADIrsl 1969 L Make something with three legs at the bottom that could be moved from one side of bed or other at head of bed like I. V. standard where bed controls, T.V. controls, and light could be fastened. Hooks to fasten to, or like I.V. holder for each bed. AFTON WILLIAMS 2. A short I.V. standard could hold both bed regulator and T.V. adjustor. Ambulatory patients would be able to reach both. AFTON MAURIN 3. I would like to see Urine-Te- k paper cup dispensers put in aU patient bathrooms. It would help so much on the leg work when you need a urine specimen for a new admittance or for a diabetic urine check. KATHY CURTIS 4. I would recommend Emergency Door be locked after shift has completely gone home. And, to have a night buzzer that rings at Med.Surg. desk when anyone comes in the big lobby front doors. It should be one that can be turned off and on at shift changes. RUTH WALTON 5. I think screw drivers and small wrenches should be put on each housekeepers cart. They run into small problems aU the' time that could be fixed in a minute if they had these appliances. JOYCE UNDERWOOD May I suggest that a different place be found to put the used linen on the first floor. As visitors come in this is the first thing that greets them and sometimes the odor isnt very pleasant. Maybe a door could be installed to keep this area from public view. Thank you! Since that time, several of our local artists have hung their beautiful masterpieces in the halls and corridors of our surgically clean hospital and these have truly been appreciated by the many patients, visitors and hospital employees. Just recently, however, a gratifying experience came; it was most satisfying for the hospital personnel to receive, as a gift, the beautiful painting New Zealand Park by Mrs. Alta Cowan. This is a delightful production which so typifies her own personal, lovely spirit, and also is a color so pleasing and needed in the hospital halls. Herein, certainly, a. special thanks and recognition to a lovely lady and a fine artist of our local community must be expressed. People who share their special talents, especially with those who find it necessary to be confined to the hospital, make it great for the rest of us and we appreciate them for it. Mrs. Cowans New Zealand Park will be hanging permanently on the first floor MedicalSurgical Nursing Division, just west of the Nurses Station. 53A year now available.
