Sheriff Ralph Chappel said Johnie Adamsville, Beaver County, was pinned beneath the tractor when it overturned in the canal. The other two youths identified as Dale and Glade Matthews, were thrown clear and not injured. It was reported that the three were riding the tractor on the narrow road parallel to the canal when the vehicle went out of control, coming to rest in the streambed. At the time of his death he had just completed the seventh grade at the Santaquin school. He was active in the LDS Church, ser-in- g as a deacon. Greg also had participated in the Boy Scouts of America. She was born April 4, 1887, in Payson, a daughter of John Perry and Lodia Scovil Loveless. She married Franklin N. Curtis on Oct. 20, 1909, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Oct. 27, 1954. Mrs. Curtis was active in the LDS Church, serving in the Relief Society and Sunday School. The Trunkeys have just recently celebrated their 50th where they Yankees and Kansas City Royals. They also made a tour of Liberty Jail and other points of interest. They returned home by plane. They will attend the BYU summer school where Mrs. Peterson will graduate in August with a Bachelors Degree in Child Development and Elementary Education.
