Horse Races Hundreds of spectators filled the grandstand to capacity Monday as visitors and their hosts attended the second of the two-dhorse race meet in Pay-so- n. ay Winners were presented cash purses, trophies and warming blankets. Entertainment between races was by Monte Taylor and his band, with Kathryn Dixon as soloist. Demar Boren of Vernal was awarded a pair of boots by Sherms Mens Store as the most outstanding jockey of the meet. B, Dedication New City Post for IS-l- leld fffice sented to Postmaster The new Post Office building at Payson was dedicated Saturday morning in services conducted by Postmaster Francis cratic party, representing Mar Losser and Peter n, Tooele, who constructed the building and who will lease it to the government for use of the Post Office Department. During the services held on the east loading dock of the new building, a flag of the United States of America, previously flown over the National Capitol in Washington D. Colvin Tanner of the Post Office staff gave the invocation and the Rev. A. Donald Coleman gave the benediction. Sponsoring the dedicatory services were Payson civic clubs, the Payson Chamber of Commerce, the Payson Lions Club, the Payson Junior Chamber of Commerce and the Pay-so- n Kiwanis Club, Eugene Braithwaite donated his time and equipment for the sound system.
