The group will practice one hour prior to the concert. Everyone capable of playing in the band is urged to be present. This is an opportunity to give com- a band for Payson. However, he needs cooperation from parents and students. Last fall, Payson was the only high school in the valley that did not send a band to the dedication of the new BYU stadium in Provo. In addition to local areas, they came be bus from Milford, 200 miles south; from Carbon, a hundred miles east, and from Sanpete and Juab counties. Their colorful uniforms and band music in ensemble were a sight and sound not soon to be forgotten. We felt remorseful that Payson did not have a marching band in that group. Students and parents, lets get behind Mr. Keck and produce a band we can be proud of the kind we have always had.
