Gordon Jensen, President of the pharmacy schools student body, said students voluntary participation was their way of responding based on their keen awareness of the need. We held a mass meeting of the student body last month at which time we discussed the Medical Center and its relationship to the profession we hope to enter. We then assigned class representatives to contact members of each class for their individual gift. It was really a student affair. We made our own decisions. I am sure I am speaking on behalf of all the students when I say that we believe the Medical Center to be of extreme importance to everyone in the area and that we are happy to be taking part in the Campaign to get it into construction, he said. Leland E. Flint, General Chairman of the Campaign said, I am almost overyhel-me- d at the generous giving evidenced by the students in the three professional schools. I want to thank the pharmacy students for their great effort. I can assure them that it is deeply appreciated.
