Show Wednesday December 29 2004 Sanpete Messenger Sanpete A7 Valley Edition Messenger-Gunniso- Thelma Burnside 60th-Jense- Raphael Brugger Raphael G Bnigger our dear husband father grandfather and friend to all who knew him passed away Dec He was 25 2004 in Richfield 1922 in Venice to bom Dec n George and Myrl Buchanan Brugger He married Julia Smith on Dec 23 1942 Their marriage was later solemnied in the Manti LDS Temple in March of 1943 Raphael served in the US Army in Europe during WW1I Thelma Ann Graham Burnside Beloved mother Thelma Ann Graham Burnside completed her earthly mission on Dec 21 2004 at Fairvicw surrounded by her loving family She was born in Fairvicw on Aug 11 1911 the beautiful daughter of James Rich- Royal and Maxine Royal aw Maxine Jensen Centerfield celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Dec 23 2004 Their children hosted a dinner for them at Denny’s on Dec 122004 They were married Dec 23 1944 and later sealed in the Manti Utah LDS Temple on Feb 5 958 Royal was employed for 27 years at Hermansen's Roller Mills Later both he and Maxine ard and Pearl Young Woods Taylor Graham Pearl passed away when Thelma was 3 years old and she Jensen worked at Gunnison Valley Elementary School where Royal was a custodian and bus driver and Maxine was a custodian and cook They have five children Rolland Price Fred Rapid City SD Kevin Centerfield Reed Richfield and Michele Mayfield longed for her mother throughout her lifetime Thelma lived a life of service to others She was the loving w'ife of Johnny Burnside whom she married on Oct 29 1938 and later in the Manti LDS solemnized Temple on April 15 1939 She was also the devoted mother of Bill They have also been blessed w ith 20 and 22 grandchildren with three more on the way Oneita Jesse John George Our precious Lynette tosh 45 passed peacefully from this life on Christmas day 2004 at the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo due to heart failure She was born to Weldon and Verdell Johnson on Oct 24 1959 in Gunnison She married Kendell McIntosh Nov 13 1976 She is survived by her husMcIn- band Kendell Gunnison Gary Lynette wjs a very caring compassionate loving person She was a caregiver to many She ways thought of someone other than herself Lynette was employed at the Mayfield Care Center for 14 years and brought much joy and laughter to all the residents and there She was truly loved by all and left a void that will never be filled She was an excellent cook and took great pride in making wonderful dishes for her family and friends She loved her family immensely they were her world She found joy in hcrgrandchildicn and spent as much time with them as she could possibly fit into her busy schedule She left behind many griev ing family members w ho will miss her sorely We have lost a treasure Funeral services will be held Dec 30 2004 at 12 pm at the Gunnison LDS Stake Center Friends may call Wednesday evening from pm at the Stake Center and 10:30-- 1:30 am print to the service Interment w ill be in the Manti City Cemetery under the direction of same She enjoyed her work in Daughters ol Utah Pioneers and treasured her pioneer heritage Survivors include her children William G Burnside (Joan) of West Jordan and Quartsite AZ Oneita S Brady (Milton) of Springville John G Burnside (Ellen) of Helena MT George II Burnside (Jcri) of Littleton CO Lorraine B Larsen (David) of Fairview Baibara A Wilson (Richard) of Hamilton IL brothers and sisters Evan Graham (LaRene) Donna Tcrkelson and Loa Armstrong all of Ogden 26 grandchildren six and took long walks exploring “Grandpa's Hill” and having picnics in the mountains and on the farm She grew flow'crs fruit and a Nercesian and James C Sumsion Shannon Rosenlof Burnside grandehildien Delioruh Beau Burnside Lisa Burnside Sumsion Philip Sumsion brothers Kent Kenneth and Lyndon Francis Graham sisteis Allie Hatton and Maxine Krebs stepmother Ellen Checkctts Clai k Graham and stepbrother and stepsisters Lclnnd Clark Louise Clark Marie Hammond and Wilma Tei kelson A viewing was held at Rasmussen Mortuaiy 96 Noith 100 West in Mt Pleasant on Monday Dee 27 The funeral was held Tuesday Dec 28 in Fairview Burial was in Fairview City Cemetery ness to her She was a laithtul member of The Church of Jesus Chnst of Saints She was active in under Raphael was an active member ol the LDS church He and Hyrum Luke served as home teaching partners for many years He is survived by his beloved son in death by Caratat Jesse Coidell John direction of Rasmussen Mortuary The family expresses deep gratitude to Iris Gary and stall' at Baker’s Assisted Living Center for the untiring care they gave our mother to Gunnison Valley w'ife Julia ol 62 years Geotlrey Brugger Julie Lynne (Joe) Martinez Bill Kristine (Becki) Brugger (Howard) Marcrofl Michael (Christy) Brugger 17 grandchil- -
