Hf'j M Roger and Colleen Rasmussen of Farmington NM celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on April 22nd 1997 with a family dinner in their daughter’s home and Colleen Roger Rasmussen Mickelsen weremarried April 22 1947 in Richfield Utah Theirmarriage was solemnized on April 22 1961 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Saints Temple in Manti Utah Through their married life Roger and Colleen have resided in Salina Gunnison Provo and Laramie They owned and operated Alexander’s Fine Jewelry in Laramie before moving to Farmington in 1976 to open an Alexander’s Fine Jewelry store there They have owned stores in Gallup New Mexico Phoenix Arizona Salina Utah and Greely Colorado They retired in 994 K £2 Jennifer Lott and Robert Forsyth Jennifer Lott and Robert Forsyth were married on Saturday June 7 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Robert is the son of Ward and Judy Forsyth of Aurora He served a mission in Korea and has graduated from Utah State University and is currently working on a master's degree in Business Information Systems Jennifer is the daughter of Tamie Fisher and Alden C Lott Jr and the granddaughter of Venieta Morley Bird of Salina Jennifer is a senior majoring in English They plan to make their home in Logan and finish their education Missionary Mews Wilson to serve Mission in Lela Hacking and Coy Stevenson Lela Noelle Hacking and Coy David Stevenson will be married June 27 1997 at Seven Oaks in Salt Lake City Lela is the daughter of Mr and Mrs K Van Waggoner of Anchorage Alaska and the late David L Hacking Coy is the son of Mr and Mrs David L Stevenson of Mayfield Utah They will be honored at a dinner reception at Seven Oaks following their marriage They will be further honored at open houses in Gunnison and in Cedar City where they are both students at SUU Florida Greq Bosshardt accepted in USNBAA Greg Bosshardt has recently been accepted to the “United States National Band Achievement Academy” as an All American Scholar This is a very prestigious award since only 5 of the students from our nation’s 22000 high schools are honored with this academy each year He was nominated by Newell Chappell of NSMS Greg will be entering NSHS as a Freshman this fall He enjoys drama and music and plays the trumpet and Elder Jonathan Brent Wilson has been called to serve in the Tallahassee Florida mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Saints Jonathan will speak at 9 am Sunday June 22nd in the Salina 3rd Ward He is the son of Brent and Dianne Wilson of Salina His grandparents are Dean and Madge Wilson of Salina and Walter and Jane Noall of Arizona Jonathan graduated from North Sevier High School in 1996 He has continued his education by attending Snow College home from pm June 22nd He An open house will be held at his will enter the MTC on July 2 1997 Jean and U'Dell Johnson Johnsons leave for mission U’Dell and Jean Johnson have been called to serve a work Mission for the LDS Church They will be serving at the Deseret Land and Livestock Mission Woodruff Utah They left June 9 1997 & Adrianne Burke JJWD 423 South p 100 West 529 - 7488 manwiMiii DO YOU HAVE A PLAN?
