the school in the competition The Sterling Scholar Awards Program is sponsored by the Deseret News and KSL each year to recognize outstanding scholarship of seniors in participating schools Each High School may nominate one student in each of the thirteen categories s in the Selection of winners and Central Utah region will be made on the basis of scholarship leadership citizenship and character as demonstrated through activity and interest in the particular category to which they arc nominated Although the scholar's entire school experience will be considered emphasis will be placed on drained the it w ithin four or fiv e hours according to Tami Hansen at city hall Last Tuesday at 9:30 pm the alarm at the pump house in Fayette notified city workers of a problem An electric problem with the switches in the pump house was fixed by Sorensen Electric by 3:00 am Wcdncsdav at noon the alarm sounded again This time city workers found the pump house flooded Utah Power and light disconnected the fuses and the piece of pipe that had The pump wouldn't separated was fixed work until the parts were dried Sorensen electric made a second visit Another part the (diaphragm) is broken and the pump will be run manually until it can be replaced Centcrfield has been connected to Gunnison water for sev eral weeks while their water collecting system at a spring near Mayfield has been updated Gunnison generally with two water sources has been using only the well in Fayette while replacing a 2(H) foot section of pipeline coming from Peacock springs City employees issued conscrv
