WARNING AGAINST POO SH the attention of the marshals office has been called to the habit which seems mems to bo be growing in this community of discharging firearms within the city aimis such a practice Is in direct violation of the city ordinances and any and all infractions thereof will be prosecuted in the future the paragraphs regulating this matter are found in sections 2439 9 and read as follows sec discharging firearms any person ds discharging charging firearms within the limits of this city without a I 1 lawful breastwork or battery for the protection of the citizens shall be liable to a fine of not more than five dollars tor for every such offense olf ense A breastwork or battery for target shooting to be deemed lawful shall be a wall eighteen inches thick six feet wide six feet high in the back with ade wings one toot foot thick each extending two feet increasing to the front and six feet high of adobes acobes ar or mud or its equivalent of other material see bec discharging air guns gun flippers etc any person dicharo ing an ai ar r gun sparrow gun flipper or other si nalar contrivance within the limits of this city shall be liable to a fine of not more than ten dollars for every all persons persona who ibia have been guilty of this tats practice pr nAlce either thought essly or otherwise are herewith advised that they will be rached in m the tb e future ani and we warn them that they will be made examples of if apprehended f N J valentine city IIiI marshal arshal
