MCSO staff and alt suspects are presumed 2002 Informainnocent until proven 8th guilty Wednesday April 3rd 12 20 p m A male juvenile from Fillmore was arrested in Fillmore by Deputy Bill Jackson The juvenile allegedly took a couple golf carts for a joy ride at the golf course causing damage to the course and to the carts The juvenile was transported to jail and charged into Millard County Juvenile Court with 3rd Degree Felony joyriding with damage to property Class A Misd joy riding Class A Misd criminal mischief and Class C Misd criminal trespass The juvenile was then transported to the Juvenile Detention Center in Provo 20pm Ryan Scott Corry 21 Tyler Lee Corry 2 Lonnie Marcel Bowen 25 and Lonnie J Turner 42 all from Delta were arrested in Delta by Adult Probation and Parole Agent Martin Abrams All 4 of the above violated terms of their probation and were transported to jail Abrams placed a 72 hour hold on each for probation violation All 4 were released after serv ing their time Thursday April 4th 12 33 a m Mark Joseph Benson 44 South Jordan UT was arrested at mp 163 by Deputy Nathan Tingey Benson was driving a 1992 Ford Explorer when he was stopped for having only headlight and for weaving over the lane dividers Tingey could smell the odor of alcohol coming from Benson and determined that he was too impaired to drive Tingey also located a open container of alcohol inside the vehicle Bensonwas transported to jail and charged into Fillmore City Justice Court with Class B Misd DUI ClassCMisd open container Class C Misd unsafe lane travel and Class C Misd faulty equipment Benson appeared before Judge Hare here he w as ordered released without posting bail pending a future court appearance 10 00 a m Brandon Leo Greer 20 Hinckley was arrested in Delta by Adult Probation and Parole Agent Martin Abrams Greer violated terms of his probation and was transported to jail Abrams placed a 72 hour hold on Greer for probation violation It should be noted that when a Greer will be released when his time is completed subject has a 72 hour hold placed on them by AP&P that weekends or holidays do not count towards the 72 hours Friday April 5th 3 39 p m William Franklin Nutt 44 Magna Ut was arrested at mp 172 by Trooper Gordon Mortensen Nutt was driving a 1992 Ford Explorer when he was stopped fora broken w mdshicld Mortensen could smell the odor of alcohol coming from Nutt and determined that he was too impaired to drive Mortensen located a open container of alcohol and a firearm inside the vehicle Nutt was transported to jail and charged into East Millard Justice Court with Class B Misd DUI Class B Misd possession of a firearm by a intoxicated person and Class C Misd open container Nutt later posted the $ 955 bail and was released pending a future court appearance 5 45 p m Kristine Villiard 46 Magna was arrested at the Millard County Jail by Trooper Gordon Mortensen Villiard who had previously received a citation for open container because she was a passenger in the vehicle with Nutt above went and got the vehicle that Nutt was driving out of impound and drove to the jail to bail Nutt out Mortensen determined that she was too impaired to drive Villiard was charged into Fillmore City Justice Court with Class B Misd DUI and Class C Misd open container Villiard later posted the S 400 bail and was released pending a future court appearance 5 57pm Jeremy V Wacther 26 and Shawn Russell Wacther 23 both from West Jordan were arrested at mp 166 by Trooper Mike Thomas Jeremy was driving a 994 Nissan truck when he was stopped for a window tint violation Thomas could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle Thomas determined that Jeremy was under the influence of marijuana Thomas then located marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia inside the vehicle Jeremy was transported to ail and Charged into Fillmore City Justice Court with Class B Misd DUI drugs Class B Misd possession of marijuana Class B Misd possession of drug paraphernalia and Class C Misd window tint Shawn a passenger m the truck was transported to jail and charged into Fillmore City justice Court with Class B Misd possession of marijuana and Class B Robinson 32 Eugene OR was arrested in Scipio by Deputy Clint Bowles Robinson was driving a 1985 Volkswagen van when he was stopped for a traffic violation Bowles could smell the odor of marijuana Nathan Tingey Falatea was driving a 2001 Ford Escort when she was stopped for speeding 103 miles per hour in a 75 zone A license check showed that Falatea has a suspended drivers license Falatea was transported to jail and charged into East Millard Justice Court ith ClassCMisd driving on a suspended license and ClassCMisd speeding Falatea later posted the $600 bail and was released pending a future court appearance Monday April 8th 20 a m Richard Kennedy Lyman 2 Delta was arrested just outside of Delta by Deputy Moms Burton Lyman was at a party at the gravel pits where alcohol was allegedly consumed by minors Lyman was transported to jail and charged into 4th District Court with Class A Misd suppling alcohol to a minor Lyman was later seen by Judge Eyre where he pled guilty and was give a 30 day jail sentence which was stayed Lyman was then released EMS Fire and Accidents There were 6 ambulance calls this week with West Millard responding to 4 calls and East Millard responding to 2 calls There were 7 fire call this week with Delta responding to 3 calls and Hinckley Oak City Meadow and Eskdale all responding to call each There were only 2 accidents this week neither of them being injury accidents Speed Enforcement MCSO Deputies issued 41 citations on overtime speed enforcement shifts this week There were 6 citations for speeds off 100 miles per hour or
