dacy as Mayor of Delta City Except for a few years away for his education he has lived in Delta He is a graduate of Delta High School and Brigham Young Univerin agriculture sity He is He is married to Donna Bunker who is a teacher at Delta South Elementary and arc the parents of nine children They have been actively involved in the community and have enjoyed living in the area Prior to the past 16 years that he has served on the Delta City Council he was a member of ihe Delta City Planning Commission He has enjoyed working with four mayors and thirteen different members of the City Council He has also been for twelve years in the Mayor absence of the mayor Gale has been tive participant in many improvements that have come a out during his years on the council The city acquired the old football Field and has planted additional grass and incorporated it as a part of the city park with more improvements yet to be done The City Park now has restrooms tables new pavilion welcome sign and flag poles and some new playground equipment The library has recently been remodeled and enlarged without any tax increase The holiday season is ushered in with the lighted parade on the Saturday following Thanksgiving There is a greater festive spirit during the holiday season with increased lighted decoration throughout the city There have been many provements to city streets storm drainage and the water distributional throughout the city and has also acquired additional culinary water rights The chain link fence that has been installed around the city cemetery to improve its appearance was provided by Delta City The city has purchased many pieces of equipment to provide better services in snow removal street cleaning and general maintenance throughout the city There have been many improvements during the past 16 years that have not been mentioned and there arc still many projects yet to be done to make Delta a better place to live Delta City has a great stafF who wanted serve
