Show Millard County Chronicle Prog res 8 April Utah Delta High School Shakespearean Festival teaches and performs Douglas Staples DHS Screams of horror coming from annex filled the halls People gathered around the students who had fallen to the hard cold floor Naturally a large crowd gathered curious over what all the noise was What it was was a workshop on stage fighting and acting taught by Jaime L)n Gra The two j and Christian Anderson college actors had the group play a game called "Assassin" afterwards the students learned a few tncks about stage fighting too “I thought it was cool just because I got out of class for it" said Jason Christensen Chnstian Anderson said “I’ve been acting for about ten ) ears and these kids know how to act" Later on that night “The Taming of the Shrew" was performed by actors from the Shakespearean Festival in Cedar City attended the play that night noticed that nobody was asleep The actors had everybody in the audience laughing and fully attentive The wardrobe and set was amazing and best of all the language of Shakespeare was challenging I thought it as hard to get what w as going on at first but it made sense after got used to it The touring actors had already performed at 73 schools this year They have tw o more schools to perform for and then they w ill go back to their home in Cedar By -
