attended four meets placing in the top four teams at each meet On Tuesday Sept 28 the DHS Golf Team traveled to Richfield to qualify to go to the state tournament In the 3A division a team must place in the top 3 teams in order to qualify for the state tournament Despite their valiant effort the team was only able to place fourth missirg the slate tournament by only five strokes Faculty vs Volleyball teams For homecoming week activity the faculty decided they wanted to take on the Lady Eagle volleyball team to see if they could compare The faculty came out on top against the freshmen and JV teams but the varsity held tight winning two out of three games Everyone was having so much fun that they decided to play more Everyone played tough and it was surprising how well the faculty open for public swim on Monday October 25 from pm The pool is a good pm and place to bring the kids during deer hunt weekend Children under 6 years old must be accompanied in the pool by an adult Monday through Friday at the Millard County Recreation Offices at 81 South Manzanita Ave Delta The fee will be $15 per player with an additional $8 if shirt is needed There will be two grades All and Ember then played North and Sanpete losing the first set at and winning the next two second Taking place at Region was Katrina Frederick of Delta High She lost the first sets and 4 6 to Richfield and won the next sets against North Sanpete The rest of the Girls Tennis Team placed third at Region Coach Murdock says "We are excited about next year We have a good shot at taking region" Slate
