on the pod deck this Payson swimmer asked the Coach who we were The Coach responded “That’s the Delta Team" to which the Payson swimmer responded "OH NO NOT DELTA" Thanks for a great season The coaching staff looks forward to another great season next year starting about April 1st From start to finish this years Jamboree was special from the shotgun blast that started the golf tournament to the silence after the last pin fell Saturday evening-th- is jamboree was one to member for a long time The gold tournament fielded nearly 50 golfers from all parts of Utah When the torrid sun quit burning our skin and m the results were ament leaders gave most honors to local people Social hour began at 6 pm at the White Sage Pavillion By 7 pm Jim and Sue Poulsen knew they were going to feed a lot of people Rosemary Forster and Geno Zwaryck entertained while we ate our tasty chicken and afterwards dancing was enjoyed by most everyone Rosie and Geno truly put cm a show for our with help from Swimming Pool’s 50 mile club are Linda Simmons Martin Ludwig and Anita Hahn Linda reached 100 miles of swimming on July 31 Lind a has been a regular at the pool since last November Martin a long term swimmer at the pool received his 300 miles card on August 2 Martin is staying in shape at the poo year round Anita Hahn reached her goal of 70 miles and received a certificate of achievement card for her tremendous efforts The pool's summer schedule will end August 21 After that the winter schedule goes into effect as follows: 12:30-3:30-- am pm pm pm pm) Lap Swim School lessons DHS Swim Team California were guest speakers and I didn't notice anyone dozing Lunch was served by Brent Heines and staff and from the favorable things I heard Brent's Navajo Tacos are worth driving to Della to enjoy Saturday evening found 82 bowlers out to show off their skills and talents and after the last pin fell two of our local adults and four of our youth took home trophies: Joe Stewart and Pauline Cox Jeanette and Michelle Morrill Cherish and Kirt Sawaya Both men’s and women’s committees would like to thank the local merchants for all they did with making this a successful endeavor Thanks also to the county board to all the directors and officers and a special thanks to all the local bowlers who attended the Jamboree June Dutson swim lesson will begin October The pool will be taking registration for these classes starting in September All classes are being offered and run Monday through Friday at pm for 2 weeks Boy Scout swim merit badge and lifesaving merit badge is again being offered at the same time (3:30 pm) The cost for all lessons is $15 per childper session All fees are due the first day of class and are The pool's annual cleaning and repair will begin September 10
