for her “main squeeze” providing she paid the cheerleaders one dollar To find out who is chasing them the guy must also pay a dollar The chase begins on Thursday When a girl catches a guy he is obligated to a fake marriage and to go with the girl to the dance on Saturday The chase can be an adventure in itself “I’ve known girls to attack the guy in his bedroom at five in the morning chase student body will you vote for? fountain of youth by Darlene Western DHS A new class horticulture introduced in this year's schedule was taught by Frank Thomas The purpose of this class was to beautify the school grounds and to make a belter environment for visitors from other schools Recently the project the class has been working on most was a water fountain in the school's main entrance The look resembled mountain scenery Now the entrance way consists of four circulating pools which form three waterfalls Two five year old maples (which cost $100 dollars each) have been plan ted than one event In the shorthand competition the two Della teams took first and second places Team number one with members Darla Hawk Jill Jackson Lisa Nielsen and Amber Petersen took first place Amber Petersen took second place in individual competition and Darla Jill and Usa all tied for fourth place Team number two Kelly Thom as Lori Hare Portia Clayton and Tina DeGraw took second place Kelly Since the presidential and historian races only had secretwo candidates the tary and social manager positions were the only ones involved in the primates Brett Callister and Curtis Simmons won the vote for Caleb Wamock and Christine Bloomfield are the prospective secretaries and in the race for social manager Garrett Moon and Kristy Smith will campaign it out Curtis Simmons said’Tt’s been fun campaigning and I was really excited about making finals” LlSsTNielseri and Shawn Bills are in the rumiing for historian Lisa said “I’m nervous about making a speech but I hope I’ll do a good job” In the presidential scat Curtis Turner and Travis Blackwelder are wailing for DHS registration set for May 9 Hooray we get to register for school next year Della High School registration for the school year will be conducted on Wednesday May 9 at the high school Next year’s seniors will register at 8:30 am in the gym Next year’s juniors will register at 10: 10 am in the gym and the sophomores will register at 1:30 pm For any sophomore junior or senior who cannot attend school on that day registration will be held in the counseling center No one will be on Friday May 18 allowed to register early Next year’s freshmen registered at the Middle High School Registration the final votes to be filed The final elections will take place on Thursday May 3 and during a first hour assembly on Wednesday
