i call i i - Open house held at Voc Center The West Central Utah Vocational Center in Delta held an open house Wednesday May 10 WCUVC Director David Church said the annual event gives parents family and friends a chance to set the work done by the students during the past year Many of the projects constructed in the cabinet making and welding classes were displayed in the recent SL SC Vocational Day contest Tuesday May 2 in Cedar City and at the Young Fair Tuesday and Wednesday May 9 and 10 at BYU Many returned with ribbons and other honors Church who is also vocational education director for the Millard School District said the school also offers several classes including: Cosmetology “They can get their full program here and take the state test and get certified” he vud and inlormauon Computers architectural technology drafting engineer drafting (using computer aided drafting) and related subjects office Accounting procedure and other classes - Academic credit classes are also offered for SUSC Utah State and Snow College Jill Droubay acts as “college coordinator” Church said A cooking school The first suh class was just completed “I’d like to give credit to instructors Ted Harris Richard Farnsworth and Jean Crabs” Church said "We have a lot of people who want to take this class again but we haven’t set up a time yet ” So far and only computer cosmetology classes are scheduled tor -
