On May 3 the members of the Millard High School Future Business Leaders of America club toured the Power Project Mr Terry Hyde took the group through the facility and explained each operation to the students including the coal combustion system main steam emission cooling system system system and waste disposal system The students were able to go into the room where the system simulator operators train to work in the control rooms of the plant The use of computer technology at IPP impressed the students From control room computers to warehouse ventory control computers are utilized in all areas of the plant Mr Hyde stressed the importance of computer knowledge and training in our educational experience The tour was very educational and worthwhile and we express appreciation to IPSC for allowing our FBLA group to visit and learn more about the operations there MHS Drill Team sponsors clinic The Millard High School is sponsoring a dancedrill clinic from This clinic will be at the August Millard High gymnasium and will give in the following instruction areas: Novelty Military Cheerleading Gymnastics and There will also be a modeling course during the week with a fashion show at :00 pm on August 12 Guest lecturers throughout the week will speak on and being the best you showmanship can be!
