We visited Temthe beautiful Japanese Byodo-iple like the temples in Japan A favorite of many was the Sea Life Park We enjoyed the Dolphin show at Whaler’s Cove and also the reef tank Picture and Ocean Science Theater were spent at taking opportunities “Blow Hole” and “Hanauma Bay” Our drive through 'Kahala’s “Millionaire Row” and into Diamond The President Millard Fillmore Library Gwen Hunter Librarian Carpet Head Crater was very interesting and beautiful We enjoyed a moment in history on cruise with its our Pearl Harbor panoramic view of Honolulu Harbor Waikiki and Diamond Head We cruised Battleship Row USS Arizona Memorial and USS Utah Our day at the Polynesian Cultural Center was a day to be remembered The seven created villages of Polynesia Pageant of the Long Canoes and the native island songs and dances were our most colorful experience of the trip We took the tram ride out through Mormon County to BYU Hawaii and the LDS Mormon Temple and Visitors’ Center In the evening we saw the spectacular evening show with a cast of over 100 The Center has been improved and added to It is the Number attraction Oahu The A1 Harrington Show and island dinner ended a beautiful day Michelle Beckstrand was used in one of the quences and made it fun for all of us to see On Maui we took the circle drive of the island up to 10025 feet Summit with a breathtaking ride up the Needle toview the world’s largest dormant crater The hairpin turns scared iis to pieces but the bus driver “Cousin group with the deposit of a $10 cleaning fee to be returned if there is no damage done and the room is returned to the condition in which it is found We like to keep the room arranged as a gallery when not in use as a meeting room Reservations for the room may be made through the library ( 3 to 7 to 6 Satrudays) weekdays and or in an emergency through the City Utility Office The deposit for long repeated use such as Fine Arts etc may be paid once a year or repaid if damage is done Library Giftique We have more handmade gift items which have been donated to the library fund raising project on display The library is striving to obtain a Kroy Printer which will be an improvement to our displays and available to the patrons for sign and poster making or for improving the quality of home items such as scrapbooks home evening posters etc Library Cards There seems to be some still on the new misunderstanding policy of purchasing library cards Fillmore citizens’ cards are paid from the taxes Meadow citizens’ cards were Town the Board all others are paid by asked to pay $5 per family per year This is just half the amount charged for individual cards in Richfield and one fourth the amount for a family card It is a real bargain!
