Show HINCKLEY OAK CITY SUTHERLAND Sharon Western Ph: Martha Anderson Dora Rose Ph: 64 3163 Ph: The tree is out the pine needles up and all the ornaments wrapped lovingly in tissue and put away for another Christmas that seems to come all too soon At last mother who is really Santa in disguise can sit for an hour and read without feeling guilty If you are a grandmother of many like am you already have in mind what you want to do for those smart talented grpidchildren who are so like their grandmother! The years that I plan to be the ‘'jammie grammie” I start sewing the next week Two weeks ago Saturday we had a man hunt or should we say “lady hunt” for she is truly a lady in every sense of the word Our little neighbor Arvilla Workman was missing only she didn’t know she was A call came to me early in the morning to check on her since she didn’t answer the phone All doors were locked and she was no place to be found Soon Clyde Stevens was crawling under her house and up in the attic and other places she has been known to frequent She was taught as a child not to ask for help if you could do the job yourself and she learned the lesson well Each passing hour brought more panic A call was placed to her daughters Elma and LaWanna and they were here as quickly as cars could bring them Phones were ringing off their hooks everyone was calling everyone else to see if she had been found Late in the afternoon she arrived home as quietly as she had left She had been visiting at a friend’s home in Hinckley She had supper with her daughters before they left for home One thing she must know by now is that she is loved Bonnie Manis Gertha Bishop Alta Reeve and Clyde and Carolyn Stevens and others are so concerned about her and check every day to make sure she is okay Thanks to all those who care! for what we learn for what we know for what we do or can and even though others accomplish may mistakenly receive credit for some things that we arc entitled to we know what we have done The Lord knows what we have done some others know too what we have done Sometime life’s record of all of us will be accounted for We just don't clutter up our lives with what would embarras peace or cause problems Even if there is seemingly a successful deception even if the wrong person is given the credit or the blame yet there is an inner record and awareness that it is simplest smartest wisest most rewarding not to clutter life with what we shouldn’t say or do nor lose our inner peace If we don’t want it printed or repeated or to become part of our record of our life we don't do it or don’t say
