Its truly awesome seeing these girls accomplish something theyve worked so hard for, head coach Robyn Felder said. Michael Lacourse has been selected to succeed Carole Grady, who served as interim provost since William Christensen stepped down from the position last May. Lacourse will officially assume his duties Feb. 1. His appointment comes after a nationwide search that began with over 60 candidates. Frank Lojko, vice president of student services, chaired the selection committee that consisted of DSU stakeholders, including the DSU Student Association, alumni and faculty. The final four candidates were invited to campus for introductions and interviews, and then committee members were given a chance to voice their recommendations. Lacourse said the selection process was thorough and professional.
