Friday, Jan. 23, representatives of all the four year schools (USU, Weber State, UofU, BYU, Westminster, UVSC and SUU) will be on campus to talk with students planning to transfer from Dixie State. They will be in the Gardner Student Center from 9:30 to 1 pm. Recruiters will be able to answer questions about admission applications, scholarships, housing, majors and general information about their institution. Now is the time to apply for admissions and scholarships for Fall Semester 2004. Some universities has transfer scholarships available with a 3.35 GPA. Transfer scholarships are becoming increasingly available at SUU, Weber State and USU. Talk with representatives from these institutions about scholarship requirements and deadlines. Even if you are a year away from transferring from Dixie State, it would be a good idea to visit with each of the recruiters to talk about major and deadlines. The sooner you plan your transfer, the easier the pre-requisit- process. es |
