security or law enforcement agencies "For example," said Despain, "we had a tip on a vehicle that came into town When we located this vehicle, we found that there were illegal aliens m it When we dealt with the situation, we impounded the vehicle and got a notification from the INS that they were takmg over the case We and they asked why, was it because that explained it was a national security issue They didnt even communicate to us exactly what it was, so its important for the public to keep their eyes open When anyone sees something that doesnt look right, then they need to let us know," said Despam "Even if it turns up to mean nothing, it is better to know that it is nothing rather than finding out later that it was something," he added Both Sheriff Smith and Despam
