Dunng high school, Go Mens basketball team member Josh Clark continues to show his dominance as one of the leagues top rebounders. Clark reached double digits m rebounds in both of the Rebels' wins over the weekend. Clark is especially effective on the offensive glass where he repeatedly gives the RebelsS Rebels second chances to score. For the womens basketball team, Candace Baldwin gave the Rebels a big lift over the weekend. Baldwin, who is talented at running the point position for Dave La Vetters team, also displayed her rebounding skills. Like Baker, Baldwin is unafraid to mix it up with the bigger forwards and centers. Baldwin pulled down a remarkable rebounds against Ricks to go along with five assists and four points in helping the Rebels avenge a loss earlier this season to the Vikings. In baseball, Brandon Lyon struck out seven batters in Mondays tournament championship victory over the Community College of Southern Nevada. Lyon is one the top pitchers on the Rebel staff. The Rebels will heed his tough pitching as the batters are using wood bats for the first time this year, which means closer ball games and more pitcher duel type games. Its also time that we recognized some of the fans who make a difference. This week, we are selecting the troublesome tno of Jordan Webber, Ben Goodman, and Matt Tanner Hafen. With these three patrolling the stands, no opponent is safe from their verbal abuse, and no ladies can resist their good looks. Or so they say. 1 to 56 losses.
