Show mumu May 5, MW 1994 Page 3 Freshman class to sponsor fund raiser You may notice some empty water bottles placed around campus in the next few weeks. And no, Rodney Rebel didn't get extiemely thirsty. The bottles will be used to collect any spare change that students are willing to donate as part of a fund raiser sponsored by the freshman class committee. All contributions will be donated to the Dove House. The a home for Dove House is battered women and children. It holds 30 families for up to 30 days. It offers counseling, nursing and protection for the families who live there. Unfortunately, the Dove House is not large enough. That is where the freshman class comes in. Through their fund raiser, they hope to be able to help build a new facility and offer their support to the women and children who will live there. For more information about the fund raiser, contact Ofa Makaui, Tiffany Prince, or a member of the freshman class committee.
