A A representative from Brigham Young University will be at Dixie College on Saturday, March 10, 1984, to administer foreign language tests for credit. Registration forms must be received by the test administrator by March 2. Forms can be obtained from Addison Everett in LA 220. Tests are available in 28 few experts claim there is no need for them, but the bottom line is that resumes do count. The Office of Cooperative Education and Placement says a positive, carefully prepared resume is a vital component of any campaign to win a job, especially in todays highly competitive world. The basics for formulating and writing a resume are to be positive, highlighting your contributions in previous jobs and emphasizing hard work, enthusiasm, highly motivated, and ambitious. A resume should be short, generally no more than two pages. Youre writing a personal summary. It should be neat, easy to read and free of type errors. The basic resume outline is name, address, telephone number at the top, followed by a Personal section listing birth date, marital status and state of health. Next is education, which should include only the highest level attained. Learning seminar set Dixie College will present Speed Learning - Super Recall: A Seminar To Celebrate Learning. Author Larry Belliston will present the dynamic learning techniques from his new book Speed Learning Super Recall. The seminar will take place February 15 from 7:00-9:3- 0 p.m. the Washington County in Library.
