Immediately following the appraisal, Dean W6 1 nd any Loraine Woodbury of the College Science Department along with several faculty members labeled, packed and boxed each piece carefully, after which it was taken to the Dixie State Bank, and placed in a vault there for safe keeping until the exhibit cases are built and security in the halls of the Science Building is proper for the collection to then be put on permanent display. The Pierces have been putting the collection together since 1970 when the first of many small collections was and purchased assembled in the real estate office. Dr. George Rampton, Dixie College Director of Program Development and Foundation Funding, has been working with the transfer of the valuable collection to the college. Nathan and Adelaide, a gambler and his moll, have been enfor fourteen gaged years, and Adelaide has almost given up hope of ever being a wife in a little white house with a picket fence. But Sky and Sarah meet for the first time in the early part of the story, and the contrasts in their basic characters and aspirations makes it seem unlikely that they will ever get together. But both alter their thinking, and a happy love story culminates in a wedding. The real joy of GUYS AND DOLLS is in the the characterizations, hit songs, and the satirical view of these harmless bigshots, who finally succumb to the repentance preached by the Salvation Army headed by group, Sarah. Costumes for GUYS AND DOLLS are created by Olive Esplin, and Mr. Robert Shepherd is working with Ned Carnahan, Tech light-hearte- d nical Director, to create some very exciting scenic background effects, which will be projected through new rear widescreen projection system donated to Dixie College Theatre by Arvil Milne. The choreography created Metcalf by Cindy promises wo be a highlight of the show. Tickets for GUYS AND DOLLS will go on sale on February 9. Season Ticket holders already have reserved seat tickets for this show. Womens Basketball. Snow vs. Dixie. 4 :30 p.m Gymnasium Basketball.
