The congress was the first such event held in the United States. The only other international youth congress was held in London in 1950. With the theme Building a New World, the congress was designed to equip SA youth, ages 16 to 25, to meet the challenges of todays world. Kahn, Salt Lake City, has received a juris doctor degree from Northwestern Univeristy School of Law. Mr. Kahn has joined the law firm of Altheimer and Gray, Chicago, as an associate. He received his bachelors degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1982 and he graduated cum laude from the law school and was awarded the Order of the Coif. He is the son of Reuben and Julie Kahn.
