Actress Faye Dunaway plans to produce and star in a film adaptation of Olive Ann Burns novel "Cold Sassy Tree," to be shot near the actress birthplace in the tiny town of Bascom, Fla., a few bormiles from the Florida-Alabam- a der. The actress made the announcement during a news conference with Gov. Bob Graham on Wednesday. Dunaway said the project is still in the "screenplay stage." Earlier Wednesday, Dunaway told a group of Florida State University theater students that the last role she truly identified with was that of 1930s gangster Bonnie Parker in the 1967 film "Bonnie and Clyde. - TALLAHASSEE, s command of the Romantic idiom made his choice of an encore piece a surprise. His articulation made the opening theme bright and lively, the ornamentation was well chosen, the vibrato minimal; and the interpretation stylish. The second part of the program was taken up with Schumann s Symphony No. 4 in D Minor. The orchestra captured the sweeping quality of the opening theme. The lushness of the string section almost compensated for Schumann's lack of imaginative use of instrumental color in the work.
