Show BOOSTS FOR DRY LAW SOW Bud Foreman, of Salt Lake, whose home for twenty-five days in the month during the former wet era was in the city jail, called at the police station one night this week to shake hands with the "boys." "Honest, I feel homesick," said Bud. "I lived at the jail so long I had become be-come used to it. But never again for me. When there was booze I loaded us with it, but I haven't had a drink since the state went dry." - In addition to a healthy tan and a clear eye, Bud exhibited a roll of greenbacks to prove that prohibition has brought him prosperity and that he is a booster for bone-dry laws." |
