Show CLEVELAND Earl Allred returned home last week from the hospital feeling fins after his operation. Supt. Wm. T. Reid visited the local schools one day this week. Elders Nielson and Guymon "Of Huntington were here as home missionaries mis-sionaries last Sunday. Grandma Greenland's birthday was celebrated in the usual style on th 23rd. One of the swellest affairs of th season was the Davis-Timothy wedding wed-ding held at Davis hall on the 21st. A very large crowd partook of the excellent ex-cellent dinner prepared by the hostess. host-ess. Many very beautiful and useful presents were received. The character ball given by the 7th and 8th grades was highly enjoyed by all who attended. We forgot to mention in our last report re-port the excellent lectures given her by Prof. Eldredge of the A. C. U. of Logan. His subjects were the sito and dairying. Mrs. Oliver Jensen left last week for Ephraim to attend the funeral of her mother. Gwen Williams returned from Salt Lake last week where she had been visiting with her father. Samuel Davis and family of Storrs visited local relatives and frends last week. The Misses Johnson and Esther and Elizabeth Jensen, Clarence Phersdn and John Timothy all of Sunnysidte came down to attend the wedding. Mrs. Gudren Johnson, who has bee"n visiting for some time with her children child-ren in Carbon county, has returned home. Thomas D. Richards and family visited relatives in Storrs last week. Joe Jensen and family are visiting , relatives in Emery this week. Victor Mortensen was a business visitor in Salt Lake last week. Frank Otterstrom and J. V. Leonard Leon-ard of Huntington and Julius Bearh-son Bearh-son of Kenilworth were business visitors vis-itors here last week. S. N. Alger and family of Castledale visited relatives here last Wednesday. The Winkler twins Faun and Fern entertained their little friends at a birthday party last Sunday. Lavon Larson entertained his little friends at a birthday party on Wednesday. |
