Show I - EMERY Miss Lylas Olsen, who has been giving a course in music during the past six weeks, concluded with a musical last Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. J. P. olsen are visiting , in San Pete county. Mrs. Maria Allen from Castle Dale has been visiting in Emery the past week. Mrs. Luella Burr entertained for Mrs. G. T. Olsen jr., last Monday. Miss LylasOlsen has gone to Salt Lake City to attend summer school. We are pleased to note that the Emery Silver Band has resurrected and is holding regular practices, so we may expect to have good music during the approaching holidays. The committee, appointed by the Town Board to investigate the work done during the clean-up campaign, on Saturday, June 3rd, visited each heme in town and rated it accordingly in one of three places: first, second or third.' The result showed thirty-four in first place; thirty-eight in second place, and twenty-three in third place; making a total of ninety-five visits. Of the thirty-four in first place tne committee wishes to make special mention of the following: P.R.Nielson, G.E.Williams, Ole Olsen, Geo. W. Mortensen, G. E. Anderson, H. C. Peacock jr., CLEVELAND June day was very fittingly observed by the Primary Association, something over $27.00 being cleared to help carry on the work. On Decoration day an excellent program pro-gram was rendered under the direction of the Y. L. The circus held fortn here Monday night and was largely attended and quite well appreciated. A. Anderson of Blackhawk has moved his family into Cleveland for the summer. sum-mer. Miss Mary Davis has returned from a month's visit with her brother and family on the Dick Richard's ranch near Col ton. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew P. Nielson are entertaining a brand new baby girl. Mrs. Nielson's mother from Idaho is visiting with her. Mrs. James T. Johnson and boy of Sunnyside are visiting relatives here. Mr. Johnson will join them later. Mrs. Sarah King is visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lars P. Larson. Alma Knight and family are visiting with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jede-diah Jede-diah Knight. Silvester Perkowski and Miss Anna Jensen, both of Hiawatha, secured the first June marriage license early on the morning of the first day of the month at Price. Justice A. J. Lee' preformed the ceremony. Miss Jensen, was formerly for-merly a Cleveland girl and her many friends join in wishing her success on her matrimonial journey.
