Grover Christensen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lars Christensen, who was drafted draft-ed from Idaho, arrived home Friday on a three-weeks furlough. A big time was given in Emery on Wednesday, night in honor of Arnold Jensen who, with Alvin Soderquist of Ferron, left yesterday for San Francisco Fran-cisco where they will be amalgamated with the coast artillery. Elrie Simonsen, also from Emery, is also expected home i from the same camp, and rumor has it that a double wedding in Emery is not improbable. - Ole Olsen, well known Castledale resident and former town board member, mem-ber, died Thursday evening from a combination of heart trouble and dropsy. A wife and several children survive the deceased, who has not had j very good health for the past three or four years. The funeral sen-ices are I tb be hold today. Why not a big day to be devoted to the placing of the town cemetery on a resectable basis and without the loss of much more time? The condition of this place is disgraceful but could be fixed up in good shape, the plots all planted to grass and the roads and walks nicely graded without a great deal of work; then, with this badly-needed badly-needed work done we might turn our energies elsewhere.
